È anche detta distene (dal greco ‘dis’, due volte, e ‘stenos’, forza), perchè ha una durezza diversa a seconda di dove venga scalfita. Dal bel colore ciano (da cui il nome più comune), è una pietra collegata alle emozioni represse: rimuove l’ansia e i blocchi emotivi.

It is also called distene (from the Greek 'dis', twice, and 'stenos', strength), because it has different hardness depending on where it is scratched. With a beautiful cyan color (hence the more common name), it is a stone connected to repressed emotions: it removes anxiety and emotional blocks.
